Why we exist
Business lending is complicated. The market has no shortage of players, but it does have a shortage of transparency. There's no standardisation across offers, terms, or processes, and in that gap, sub-optimal behaviour tends to creep in. That's not good for businesses, and in the long run, it's not good for lenders either.
We built Compareflare to change that. Business owners needed clarity in an increasingly complex marketplace, and there wasn't a tool built to give it to them. We believed there was a clear need for a clear tool - one that offered transparent information and professional guidance, without an agenda.
Our Mission
To simplify the decisions around business lending, helping both lenders and businesses find their correct fit.
Our Team
The Compareflare team brings experience from both sides of the table: lending and business building. We've sat where our lenders sit, and we've sat where our users sit, so we understand the challenges, the nuances, and the needs of businesses navigating this space.
Our team members have a range of backgrounds, from accountants and risk specialists to entrepreneurs and engineers - a mix chosen deliberately, so that every part of the product, from the data behind it to the experience of using it, is built on real expertise.
Why we're a source you can trust
Compareflare is a comparison service built to help businesses make confident, informed borrowing decisions. Everything we do is guided by three principles: our work is evidence-backed, our approach is customer-centric, and our information stays up to date.
We're not in the business of steering you toward any one lender. We're in the business of helping you see clearly.
How we make money
Compareflare is free to use, for every business, every time.
We don't sell placement on our platform, and lenders don't pay to be featured. Every comparison and recommendation we make is ours alone, as an objective, independent platform.
Where we do earn: when a business successfully applies for and takes up a loan through Compareflare, we may earn a referral fee from the lender. This fee never affects the price a business pays for its loan; it simply helps us keep the lights on, so we can keep providing businesses with the best possible support, for free.
